The Static textures breathy perceptual fields
a new light transfixes the dark
this sky has no colour
but the clouds are brightly grey.

I reach out and feel for a point of view, 
a strange, abrupt displacement,
and the arrival of something circadian
but why so uneven?

And who says that days have to be
followed by nights? Let us just assume
that they aren’t — that this is the nature of reality.
